Profound and Personal Folk-Pop for a Joyful, Empowered World”

Still, We Rise Acoustic Duo

"Through the dark struggles of life, we emerge: strong, shining, and joyous." With soaring harmonies and playful acoustic arrangements, Colorado band Still, We Rise gives voice to the rollercoaster of life through the eyes of Anastasia Rose (french horn, vocals, guitar, piano, percussion) and Sara Giita (vocals, piano). As classically trained musicians turned acoustic singer-songwriters, they bring joy and depth to their inspiring songs, interspersed with cover favorites from across the generations.  Separately, Sara and Anastasia have earned multiple music degrees and played for crowds from 20 to 2000+ in the US and abroad. Together, they give a passionate and captivating performance with their beautiful vocals taking center stage.

Imagine old-school Joni Mitchell singing harmonies with the fresh sound of Ingrid Michaelson, all the while telling relevant, passionate stories of overcoming life’s struggles. Having formed their unstoppable duo in July 2017, these goddesses of song are spreading hope and kindness on stage in the Denver area, gaining the attention of Denver's 9News, Westword Magazine, KGNU Radio, and more.

Many of the children who have experienced neglect or abandonment are thriving due to a loving and supportive atmosphere. Whenever possible, ties to the families of participating children are maintained and supported.

AMURTEL Haiti also runs two schools in Haiti; one in Port Au Prince, the other in Anse a Pitre. Both schools use a curriculum and educational philosophy based on Neo-Humanism–a philosophy that propagates love for all creation. The philosophy seeks to acknowledge the spiritual, mental, and physical aspects of a child through the methods of creative arts, supportive sharing circles, and yoga asanas. This educational philosophy is employed as a way of fostering compassionate caretakers and leaders in our future society.
